Due to the success of their first traditional neighborhood development, The Village of River Ranch, developer Robert Daigle and architect Steve Oubre were led to the sleepy little city of Youngsville, Louisiana. There in the heart of sugar cane country lay a beautiful stretch of undeveloped land, which has been controlled by the Bailey family for many years and is destined to become Louisiana's newest traditional neighborhood, Sugar Mill Pond. The developers of River Ranch have formed a partnership with the Bailey family to co-develop Sugar Mill Pond. The partners share a vision that will transform this unique property into something truly spectacular.
The Master Plan of Sugar Mill Pond's carefully planned community consists of 509 acres. Already under development, the first phases includes several small neighborhoods, a beautiful lake and a bustling town center which will serve as a gathering place for residents to visit with their neighbors just a little longer than usual.
In keeping with small town traditions, Sugar Mill Pond puts an accent on community by designing walkable neighborhoods and mixed residential, office and retail building space. Sugar Mill Pond is not just a beautiful place to live it is a beautiful way of life. | | |
