Great Strides and Run for the Roses

The Baton Rouge Regional Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation announced today the launch of Great Strides, a national walk that generates critical funds for lifesaving cystic fibrosis research, education and care. The 2013 goal of Great Strides, the largest CF fundraiser, is to raise nearly $40 million.

On Saturday, May 4th, the Foundation will have their annual walk at Sugar Mill Pond. Funds raised through Great Strides have helped spur dramatic progress in the lives of those who have cystic fibrosis.

Registration: 9:00am at Sugar Mill Pond

Walk: 10:00am

In conjunction with the Great Strides Walk, the Foundation will also be having a 5K run. The run will take place at 8:30am with registration at 7:30am.

Registration: $25 prior to run day and $35 day of
